Mayors Collaborates with Jewelry Designer Pamela Love

Pamela Love

(PRESS RELEASE) MIAMI, FL — MAYORS, the leading retailer of fine jewelry and timepieces in the Southeastern United States, is joining forces with Miami-born and New York-based jewelry designer Pamela Love for a one-of-a-kind capsule collection that will be exclusive to the retailer’s newly opened Merrick Park flagship and sold on the MAYORS e-commerce website.

Since launching her brand in 2008, Miami native and renowned jewelry designer Pamela Love has received multiple awards, nominations and recognitions throughout the years including the CFDA Lexus Eco Challenge for Sustainable Design in 2012 and the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessories Design in 2013, and previous collaborations include Barneys New York, Shinola, Opening Ceremony, J.Crew and Nine West; thus, leading MAYORS to connect with Love to create the brand’s first collaboration since the relaunch in October. The capsule collection successfully brings Love’s magnificent designs home to South Florida and MAYORS, which forms a part of her cherished childhood memories and early appreciation for fine jewelry.

The MAYORS x Pamela Love capsule collection encompasses limited edition pieces that represent both brands’ core identity while introducing a unique selling point. With pieces influenced by phases of the moon and comprised of earrings, pendants, bracelets, rings, and necklaces, the capsule collection provides a burst of exclusivity and excitement to the Florida market. The pieces draw from the power of the celestial and the mystic; phases of the moon in the form of rose gold and diamond drop earrings, a yellow gold and blue sapphire bracelet, a diamond and malachite pendant, among other powerful and timeless pieces. Pieces range from $1,000 to $6,000 and will be sold exclusively at MAYORS at The Shops at Merrick Park and online at www.mayors.com.

“Growing up in South Florida, my earliest memories and exposure to jewelry was at MAYORS. With today’s jewelry market being saturated, it’s important to stand out through truly special design and amazing craftsmanship. I’m incredibly excited to get the chance to re-connect with the Miami market through this special capsule collection with MAYORS. I look forward to these one-of-a-kind pieces becoming long lasting heirlooms like the stars in the Miami sky,” stated Pamela Love.

The collaboration, which also serves as a celebration of MAYORS’ exclusive offerings, was a synergy between the two brands to create a collection that stayed true on both ends characterized by elegance and uniqueness while remaining youthful and refined. Pamela Love’s contemporary designs are perfectly in tune with everything women are looking for; striking yet sophisticated jewelry.

Continuing to partner with brands and create unique merchandise for the MAYORS brand, MAYORS at The Shops at Merrick Park will also be carrying exclusive pieces from Roberto Coin, JB Star, Uneek, Mikimoto and Messika. Additionally, the MAYORS retail experience will be heightened with their own Bridal and Fine Jewelry Collections and other top brands consisting of Breitling, IWC Schaffhausen, Cartier, Mont Blanc Watches, Omega, Rolex, TAG Heuer, and Tudor Watches.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
